First grade standards require students to know the names off all coins, how much they're worth, and be able to count 'like' coins together. This is something that we would love for you to practice at home with your child. Here we are in our math investigations time, counting up to 25 cents.

Having Fun With Alfalfa

We got a large blue animal ball for our class guinea pig Alfalfa. As a treat for being on our best behavior, we put Alfalfa in it for a few minutes before we went out for recess today. We had a great time watching him.
