Thanks to Seth's mom who sent in Valentine Cupcakes with each students name written on them! They were delicious!

The weekly homework goes home today and is due back next week as usual. This weeks skills words are high frequency and sneaky e words. The sneaky e is making the letter 'u' say it's name this week. When you add sneaky e to the end of the word 'cut'... the sneaky e makes the u say it's name, and makes the words 'cute'.

100th Day Of School!

Today was the 100th day of school!
All day, our learning revolved around that number. In math today, we counted out 100 frootloops on our desk. We put them in 10 piles of 10. After we counted out 100, we strung them onto a necklace, and wore them around our neck. :)
When we were done with that, we each peeled 100 star stickers and put them on a hat that we were able to wear for the rest of the day.

This afternoon, we were able to fill a bag with 100 snacks! We picked 10 snacks from each bowl (and there were 10 different bowls). Once we had 100 little snacks in our bag, we could take it to any spot in the classroom and silently read while we snacked. It was yummy reading today! :)
